Burnt,charred smell.tat has been e only smell i can smell of since tis afternoon.some ppl whom i noe r suffering coz of it like melvin,e NTU student doin FYP wif me.he's havin asthma ever since e haze started,so it's a wonder tat he managed to come to NTU n do FYP today.am also havin dry throat n a bit more tired than usual coz of tat.Seriously,something has to be done bout illegal logging tat's been goin on in indonesia.even though e indon gov't clamped down on illegal logging activties in recent yrs, but it's still a serious problem for indonesia. and tis becomes a problem for malaysia n s'pore n even western pacific islands if u read e papers today!!i tot all along tat e haze is a SEA problem.but i've nv tot tat e effects can be felt in e pacific.well,i guess human nature is at fault here coz of jus one word:corruption.there r a few black sheep of gov't officials tat accept bribes frm organisation tat carry out all these logging.Certainly,corruption is a real issue in many countries.
well tat's all about burnt smell n stuff like tat.e moon is really big n bright 2nite on 中秋节.e perfect big, bright moon for any diehard romantics.actually i wan to photograph e moon 2nite,rite nw but i can't find e moon anymore..hehe,i dunno where it went to.Well thinking bout moon n romance(sorry nt you ar,kuang yong),the choice of life partner has been rankling on my mind for e past few days.i kept thinking bout tat coz of those two difficult questions tat chun siong asked me bout during e sunday overnite.it really stumbled me.as a result, i felt very confused bout wat's my conviction n feelings.i tink i better tell tis to lennon.if u wan to noe more,jus ask me.i can't say too much here.
well today my FYP is fruitful today though we still haven get e results yet.i tot tat e continuous monolith would show some results for labview but it didn't.At least, my group still identified some potential causes, which is something to look into carefully.So we decided to fabricate another batch again.but e mass balance go heywire again n i hav to report to e CRAG bout tat.he wasn't pretty pleased bout tat coz every equipment failure in e lab would affect his reputation in e school.tis is esp so when he's running an under-funded lab where there's little funds to maintain e equipments.after many hours of delay, we finally placed e capillaries in e oven for 1 day.Come to think of it,God has been good to my group for giving us breakthru of continuous monolith when all seems lost.tis time rounf i'll do e same as well tat he'll give us better results coz he's trustworthy.
